Enza Ciffa (WSands)

Enza loves the beauty industry. In 2003 she graduated from Continental School of Beauty in Rochester, NY. She worked in a salon for 1 1/2 years before opening her own salon in Greece, NY. When she's not in the salon she enjoys learning and educating. She has educated for different  manufacturers for over 10 years and plans to continue for many more. She has been with White Sands for the past four years. Her passion is up-styling, coloring, and cutting because it allows her to be very creative when using new techniques.

Susan Freemesser (White Sands)

Susan has always sought to bring out the Artist within. With training in Commercial Art, Susan's focus went from advertising to creating the 'beauty' behind it. While attending Shear Ego International School of Beauty in 1993, Susan quickly realized her ability to create the looks she saw in pictures. This inspired her to tap into everything the beauty industry had to offer. Early on she became a Total Image Consultant, performing all hair services along with makeup and skincare services. Her passion has been fueled by attending several training seminars and meeting incredible platform artists through the years. For over 18 years, Susan has sought to bring out the 'beauty' in every client that sits in her chair. She is currently in private practice at Voila Hair Studio & Spa in Rochester, NY. She offers all hair services, specializing in Hair Design, Up-Do Styling & Hair Extensions. Susan also provides Specialized Skin Care Services including Spa Facials and Facial Waxing. As an Educator & Artistic Team Member for White Sands Products, Susan enjoys traveling and sharing with fellow stylists and her clients how this experience has transformed how she looks at her 'canvas' (client). Her desire is to inspire them to create their own 'Masterpiece'.

 

Karen Ciraolo

Karen has been a national educator for White Sands for three years. She was trained by owner Fernando Salas and now works on stage with him regularly. A hairstylist for years, she recently opened her own salon in the Buffalo area. Her passion for White Sands is clearly visible as she shares her knowledge with fellow stylists.

 

Louis Capizzi

Louis is a National platform artist with BennieFactor and Gage for Men hair care products. He is in his second year educating for Benniefactor and Gage for Men but has been a national platform artist for many years. He is a second generation hair stylist and salon owner with 24 years of experience. Louis has been honored with the Master of the Craft Award from the Arts and Fashion Group. He has a passion for learning and for sharing his knowledge with stylists and salon owners around the country.

 

Mario Coseglia (Enjoy)

With nearly two decades of experience in the beauty industry, Mario Coseglia is a seasoned salon professional. He owns a busy salon in the Buffalo, NY area where he personally specializes in cuts, color, color correction and long hairdressing. Mario's cutting style is based on working with natural texture and creating a look that is personalized for each client. He accentuates his cuts with his signature hair color adding depth, dimension and interest. His long hairdressing skills are also top notch. He creates classic, glamorous looks with polished finishes for any occasion. His vast clientele includes several local television and radio personalities. Mario also spends much of his time doing runway work and charitable events. In addition, he hosts a local cable television spot every month, where he offers beauty advice. Segments include everything from major makeovers to at-home styling tips. A former Cosmetology instructor, Mario now brings his years of teaching and in salon experience to ENJOY Hair Care. He offers focused, disciplined but interactive classes in easy to understand terms, taking students step by step through any process or technique.

 

Kyla Johnson (Enjoy)

With a fresh outlook on the industry, Kyla stays busy as the owner and director of education of ENJOY-exclusive Forbici Hair Design in Jamestown, New York. She's a hair color specialist who is skilled in color correction but with a penchant for the creative side. She loves being original, taking everyday wear color and adding a splash of fun so clients can go from conservative days to a fabulous night out. Kyla's cutting style is as varied as her clientele, but she gravitates toward modern looks and shorter lengths with lots of texture and movement. She works well with all sorts of texture, whether natural or chemically added. Both in the salon and on location, she offers classic to trendy formal hairstyles for brides or any special occasion. As an educator for ENJOY Hair Care, Kyla's approachable, interactive teaching style makes students feel comfortable with the knowledge she openly shares. Her no-nonsense approach offers techniques and applications that stylists can realistically use, but she adds a twist with color or texture to keep things current and creative.

 

Lynn Strzelecki (Scruples)

Lynn has been in the Beauty industry for over 18 years and teaches a fundamental approach to coloring and cutting. She is an Associate Artist with Scruples Professional Salon Products who was recently selected for the Cutting by Design Team to implement a new system for cutting recently developed by Scruples. Lynn has worked with Scruples Design Team members David Steiner, William Whatley, Amy Goltz, and Mark Steine. After years of successful salon ownership, Lynn now dedicates herself to educating others on how to advance themselves by using Scruples Systems that work.

 

Catherine Tantalo (Oligo)

Cathy has been involved in almost every aspect of the beauty industry. She has over 30 years of experience behind the chair and over ten years working as an educator for Farouk Systems and now Oligo Professional. She believes continuing education elevates the quality of our profession and supports Becker Beauty's philosophy of quality service, products and education.

 

Karen Taylor (Voila)

Voila Educator Karen Taylor has a long love affair with the art of hair design. She knows color is the best way to complement the hair cut creating an individual style for your client. Color is a passion she loves to share with professional stylists. Karen was trained and worked in NYC with 35 years as a stylist and colorist. Volia Color is Italian color at its finest. Volia will excite the master colorist offering vibrant colors to muted tones to create with in an unlimited palette. Volia has consistent tried and true results for the stylist that wants to grow in their knowledge and understanding of color. Karen invites you to the experience Volia for yourself and live life in color!

 

Frank Sutera (La-Brasiliana)

Frank has been a stylist and educator in the Beauty Business for over 30 years. As a third generation stylist, he followed his Grandfather who was a Barber from Italy and his parents who were both hairstylists. Frank is now a Platform Artist with La-Brasiliana Keratin Hair Treatments and owns a salon in Central New York. Frank has traveled both nationally and internationally for La-Brasiliana including his recent trip to Bangkok, Thailand to launch in South East Asia with great success being interviewed live on Thailand TV.

 

Taryn Anderson

Taryn is a professional makeup artist and licensed cosmetologist with over 5 years experience. Taryn obtained her training in Toronto Canada at the renowned Complections International Academy of Makeup Artistry. With her exceptional natural ability, passion for the industry and outstanding education, she graduated #1 Top of the Class. She has had the pleasure of working with some of the top makeup artists and has been involved in makeup for Theatre, Film Production, Commercials and Runway Fashion. Taryn works and lives in the Northeast U.S. ,travels extensively and keeps up with the latest beauty trends in the industry, working as a professional makeup artist, cosmetologist and Educator for Bodyography Cosmetics.
